New public clips for studying technique, rhythm and choreography at home.
BG Flamenco Academy released new clips in its public series Flamenco Paso a Paso.
The series briefly presents important points from actual classes: technique, flamenco rhythm, body movement, arms, footwork, musical listening and continuity in choreography, helping you learn little by little.
That week's videos covered taranto, soleá por bulerías, jaleos, tientos, sevillanas, castanets, body technique and flamenco footwork.
What matters is more than memorizing steps: it is also observing how the body initiates a movement, how we listen to the music, where we bring a phrase to a close and how we build the dance.
