The historical 2023 invitation to a meal for Platinum members.
In January 2023, we announced the return of the exclusive meals for Platinum members that we held before the pandemic.
This meal is exclusively for Platinum members (those who have completed seven years since joining the studio;
if you previously left and then rejoined, the requirement is seven consecutive years from the date you rejoined).
To arrange the reservation, we ask you to let us know whether you will attend, even though it is still some time away.
Depending on the number of participants, the venue may change,
but our current plan is
to depart from Hinode Pier
on the Symphony Sunset Cruise,
with a planned time of 16:20–18:20.
The reply deadline announced at the time was February 15 at 21:00.
Thank you for your cooperation.
This is a wonderful gift from our teacher BENI to everyone who has attended the studio for so many years. Platinum members, we hope you will join us!
For everyone unable to take part this time, we also hope you will continue enjoying your time at the studio and work toward becoming a Platinum member.

A participant’s memories from an earlier gathering
We have received a testimonial from a student,
and we invite you to read it.
@sasachan
At BG Flamenco Academy, we become Platinum members from our seventh year of membership onward. There are various benefits to becoming a Platinum member, but the one I was most looking forward to was
an invitation from our teacher Beni to a twilight cruise on Tokyo Bay.
It is a special gift from our teacher to thank us for staying with the studio for so many years!
(As students, we are already full of gratitude for the dedication, discipline and enjoyment he brings to teaching us flamenco. Seven years fly by before we know it… and then we receive this incredible gift!).

The twilight cruise involves
boarding a cruise boat at the pier and enjoying a delicious French course dinner. Just as we finish eating, we can go out onto the deck and watch the sun set over the sea.
That day, we gathered at the pier together with the artists and other people who had supported us throughout the year. Everyone was dressed up, looking a little different from when we met at the studio, and we boarded the boat with excitement. The room prepared for us was spacious, with European-style decor and an elegant atmosphere.
The meal began with appetizers,
and each plate brought to us was as beautiful as a work of art. Everything was truly delicious, and I found myself smiling from ear to ear.
Drinks were freely available. I was a little worried about getting seasick, but I could hardly feel the boat moving, and I even enjoyed the wine I love!
I quickly became friends with students who were not my usual classmates. After the meal, we went out onto the open deck with our teacher Beni and everyone else, and took lots of photos with the 360-degree panorama of Tokyo Bay behind us.
Just as we passed beneath Rainbow Bridge, the boat's bell began to ring. The sight of the sun setting over the sea and the sound of the bell were so romantic that it felt like a moment in a dream.
Our teacher Beni quietly watched us as we became excited, laughed and expressed our joy. Even in the way he watched us, I could feel so much of his affection for his students.
After becoming a Platinum member,
receiving such a wonderful gift from our teacher Beni meant so much to me. Thank you so very much!
Muchas gracias!
When I wrote this account, the Platinum gatherings were paused because of the pandemic. I looked forward to another Tokyo Bay cruise once things settled down.
